Backlinks Monitoring integrated service

Backlink Monitor helps Marketers review placements arranged through Posticy. It covers content published under Posticy Orders, not placements arranged outside the Platform.

When monitoring starts

The Publisher must officially deliver the published article URL through the Order delivery workflow. Publication alone, a URL in chat, or a URL shared outside that workflow does not activate monitoring.

How often checks run

Checks run once per week after activation. The displayed status reflects the most recent completed check and may not show changes made afterward. Monitoring is not continuous or real-time.

Reading monitoring results

The monitoring view helps identify page-access issues and changes to agreed links. Depending on the available report, review link targets, anchor text, link relationships, and indexing information. A result is a diagnostic signal, not a guarantee of Google indexing, rankings, publication duration, or fulfilment of every Order requirement.

Quick status guide

  • 403: Page access is restricted. This may be a firewall or bot restriction rather than removal.
  • 404: The requested page was not found.
  • 500: The website returned a server error.
  • WA: Anchor text has changed.
  • WR: Link relationship has changed, such as nofollow or sponsored.
  • WLP: The link points to a different landing page.

What to do if a placement changes

Open the delivered URL and compare it with your agreed Order. Notify the Publisher through the Platform, identify the affected URL and requirement, and keep the communication in the Order. During the agreed publication period, the Publisher must respond and correct a defect within seven calendar days unless another deadline is agreed or correction would be unlawful. If correction is impossible, Users may agree a replacement or refund directly. A replacement on another website needs Marketer approval.

Publication duration

Unless another period was agreed before acceptance, the Publisher must keep the placement and agreed links available for at least 12 months from first publication. Delivery and monitoring do not restart or extend that period. Monitoring is a convenience feature and does not make Posticy responsible for independent Publisher performance. Managed-service replacement and refund obligations follow Sections 8.1 to 8.3 of the Terms and Conditions.
