If a published article disappears, or its agreed links or link attributes are missing or changed, check the placement and report the issue through the relevant Posticy Order. Marketers and Publishers should keep the affected URL, agreed requirements and resolution recorded in the Platform.
Check the page and agreed requirements
- Open the published URL recorded in the Order and check whether the article is accessible.
- Check the promoted target URL, anchor text and agreed link attributes against the accepted Proposal and any later changes agreed by both parties.
- Check the agreed publication period and the date the article was first published.
- Save relevant evidence, such as a screenshot, error message and the date you checked the page.
Unless a different period was expressly agreed before acceptance, the Publisher must keep the article publicly available for at least 12 months from first publication, with the agreed links and attributes, subject to applicable law. Official URL delivery and monitoring activation do not restart or extend this period.
Report the issue to the Publisher
Open the relevant Order from your Marketer Orders → My Orders list by clicking the Order ID or status. Send the Publisher a clear message through the Order conversation identifying:
- The affected published URL and Order ID.
- What is missing or changed.
- The requirement agreed in the Order.
- When you noticed the issue and the evidence available.
- The correction or restoration you are requesting.
During the five-day review period after official delivery, use the available revision workflow for corrections. An outstanding revision request prevents automatic completion. After completion, report a later defect through the Order conversation; Completed status does not end ongoing publication and link obligations.
Publisher response and correction deadline
The Publisher must respond and, where the placement does not meet the Order requirements, restore or correct it within seven calendar days after receiving the notice, unless the parties agree another deadline or restoration would violate applicable law.
Publishers should review the accepted terms, investigate the issue, correct the placement and record the result in the Order. Material content changes or changes to agreed terms require the other party's agreement. If a correction cannot be made, explain why and discuss a resolution.
Replacement or refund for an independent placement
If the Publisher cannot restore or correct the placement, the Marketer and Publisher may agree a replacement or refund directly. A replacement on a different website requires the Marketer's approval. Record the proposed website, content, links, publication period and any payment adjustment before proceeding.
For placement fees paid directly to the Publisher, refunds and disputes are handled between the parties under their Order and applicable law, and through their payment provider where relevant. Posticy does not hold independent placement funds in an escrow account or wallet.
A monitoring alert does not by itself trigger an automatic refund or establish that an Order has been breached. These steps do not limit either party's rights or remedies under their agreement or applicable law. See Paying a Publisher for Your Order.
If Posticy manages your campaign
Managed services follow the separate service agreement and the managed-service rules in the Terms. If an agreed managed placement is rejected before publication, or removed within 12 months after publication, Posticy prioritizes arranging a replacement that meets the agreed campaign requirements without an additional placement or management fee. A longer coverage period may be agreed in writing.
Notify Posticy in writing at support@posticy.com, identifying the affected placement and campaign. Replacement placements follow the agreed approval process: Semi-Managed placements require User approval, while Fully Managed selection follows the authorized campaign requirements and budget.
If a covered replacement has not been published within 30 calendar days after Posticy receives written notification, you may request a refund of the full amount charged by Posticy for that placement, including its allocated management fee. Posticy issues that refund within 14 calendar days after receiving the request. You may instead agree in writing to an extended deadline or a credit for a future placement.
These managed-service refunds do not depend on Posticy first obtaining repayment from the Publisher. The service agreement or accepted quotation must identify the placement charge and allocated management fee.
How to interpret monitoring results
Backlink Monitor covers Posticy Order placements and starts only after the Publisher officially delivers the published URL. Checks run once per week. The displayed status reflects the latest completed check and may not reflect later changes.
Check the live page and agreed requirements when investigating an alert. A monitoring result alone does not decide fulfilment or breach, and a successful earlier check does not rule out a later problem. See Backlinks Monitoring integrated service.
Connects and Premium are separate
A placement problem, failed collaboration or cancelled accepted Order does not create a blanket entitlement to a Connects or Premium refund. Connect restoration applies to the specific pending Proposal and Offer Request events described in the Understanding Connects on Posticy guide. Restoration of usage units is different from a refund of a placement fee.
