For an independent placement arranged through Posticy, the Marketer pays the Publisher directly. The Publisher is responsible for issuing an accurate invoice for that placement. Premium, Connects and other Posticy services are separate charges.
Check the invoice before paying
Open the accepted Order and review the invoice against the agreed placement. Check the issuer, your company details, the selected service, amount and currency. Include the billing address and Tax ID where applicable. Ask the Publisher to clarify any missing or incorrect information before making payment.
Do not pay an invoice that does not match the agreed Order or your applicable billing requirements. Keep the correction request in the Order conversation. An invoice dispute does not itself cancel an accepted Order; contact Support if you cannot resolve it.
Request a correction from the Publisher
Send the Order ID, invoice number or reference, and a clear list of the corrections needed. Supply the correct company name, billing address and Tax ID where relevant. State whether the invoice has already been paid.
A useful request is: “For Order [Order ID], please correct invoice [reference] to use the following billing details: [details]. The amount and currency agreed for the placement are [amount and currency]. The invoice is [paid/unpaid]. Please attach the corrected document to this Order conversation.”
Share only information needed for the correction. Never send passwords, full card details or payment-account credentials.
If you already paid
Ask the Publisher to provide the appropriate corrected billing document for the existing payment. Include the payment date, amount, currency and transaction reference. Do not make a second payment simply to obtain a corrected invoice.
If the payment provider's invoice interface cannot show the required details, ask the Publisher whether they can issue a complete PDF invoice or other appropriate correction document and attach it to the Order conversation. It should clearly identify the existing transaction. The document and correction method must meet the requirements applicable to the issuer and transaction; a PayPal receipt alone may not meet your company's invoice requirements.
Changing your profile does not correct an existing invoice
Keep your billing profile accurate before future Orders. Updating it does not confirm that a document already issued has been corrected. Request that correction separately from the issuer.
When to contact Posticy Support
If the Publisher does not respond or the correction remains incomplete, contact Support with the Order ID, invoice reference, your correction request and the relevant response. Posticy can investigate and follow up with the Publisher. Posticy does not hold the independent placement payment and cannot issue a replacement invoice in its own name for the Publisher's sale.
