After payment is confirmed, publish the agreed article on the selected website and deliver its published URL through the Posticy Order workflow. Official delivery gives the Marketer a placement to review and activates weekly monitoring.
1. Open the correct Order
In the Publisher dashboard, open Orders. Use Search, Status, All Websites and Date Range to find the collaboration, then click its Order ID or status to open the conversation and Order details.
Review the selected website, article, price, promoted URL and anchor text, delivery deadline and any additional requirements recorded in the accepted Proposal or agreed messages.
2. Confirm payment before publication
Acceptance creates a binding Order and an invoice in the Publisher's name. The Marketer must pay the invoiced placement fee before publication. For a Direct Proposal, Publisher acceptance creates the Order. For an Offer Request response, Marketer acceptance creates it without a second Publisher acceptance.
Check the Order's payment status and verify payment receipt. Where manual invoicing is enabled by an administrator, a transaction ID or uploaded payment proof alone is not proof that funds have arrived. Verify actual receipt in your payment account before treating payment as confirmed.
See How Payment Works for Publishers.
3. Publish according to the agreed requirements
- Publish on the website agreed in the Order.
- Use the approved article and any authorized formatting or editorial changes.
- Check the promoted URL, anchor text and agreed link attributes.
- Apply the agreed and legally required advertising or sponsorship disclosures.
- Check that the final page is publicly accessible and that its links work.
Material changes to content, website, price or other accepted terms require the Marketer's agreement. Do not substitute another website without approval.
4. Officially deliver the published URL
- Return to the Order after publication.
- Use its official delivery control, including Mark as completed where shown.
- Enter the exact URL of the published article and review it before submitting the delivery.
- Check that the delivery succeeds and the published URL is recorded in the Order.
The Order history records publication and the article URL, and the details show Published URL. The Order Timeline helps distinguish article publication from final Order completion.
Pasting a URL into chat does not replace official delivery. Publication alone, or sharing the link outside the delivery workflow, does not activate monitoring. If the delivery control is missing or fails, contact support with the Order ID and published URL.
5. Allow Marketer review
Official delivery moves the Order into the Pending review stage. The Marketer has five days after official delivery to review the placement and request corrections. Your delivery action does not bypass that review, even if its button uses the word “completed”.
The Order becomes Completed when the Marketer accepts completion, or when the five-day review period elapses without an outstanding revision request. See Understanding Order Statuses for Publishers.
Handling a revision request
If the Marketer requests corrections during review, the Order enters Revision. An outstanding revision prevents automatic completion.
- Read the correction request and compare it with the agreed Order requirements.
- Correct deviations, such as a missing link, incorrect anchor, wrong link attribute or unauthorized content change.
- If the request adds new content or changes the scope, agree the change with the Marketer before proceeding.
- Record what you corrected in the Order conversation and use the available Order workflow to return the corrected placement for review.
If you disagree about a requirement, explain the issue and refer to the accepted terms. Keep any agreed change and deadline recorded through Posticy.
Maintain the placement after completion
Unless a different publication period was expressly agreed before acceptance, keep the article publicly available for at least 12 months from first publication, with the agreed links and attributes, subject to applicable law. Official delivery and monitoring activation do not restart or extend that period.
Completed status does not end these ongoing duties. If the article is removed or agreed links or attributes are changed during the agreed period, the Marketer should notify you through the Platform. Respond and correct the defect within seven calendar days after receiving notice, unless another deadline is agreed or correction would be unlawful.
If restoration or correction is impossible, the parties may agree a replacement or refund directly. A replacement on a different website requires the Marketer's approval. Independent placement refunds are handled between the parties and their payment providers where applicable.
How monitoring works
After official URL delivery, Posticy monitors placements arranged under Posticy Orders once per week. The displayed status reflects the latest completed check and may not show later changes yet. Monitoring does not cover placements arranged outside the Platform, guarantee publication performance or decide by itself whether an Order has been fulfilled.
See Backlinks Monitoring integrated service.
