Managing Your Website Listing

Keep your Publisher website listing accurate so Marketers can review the right audience, formats, requirements and prices before sending a Proposal. Manage existing listings from My Websites in your Publisher dashboard.

Find the website you want to update

Use Search websites and the website filter to locate the correct domain. Review its displayed status, price and metrics. Select Edit in that website’s row to open Edit Website Details.

The row’s More actions menu also provides View Details, Hide, Get Widget and SEO Metrics Update where available. Boost is a separate paid visibility action.

Update the website details

Review the fields available in the edit form:

  • Website URL: confirm that you are editing the intended domain. If a domain or ownership change cannot be made through the form, contact Support before creating a duplicate listing.
  • Country: select the country appropriate to the website.
  • Categories: choose relevant topics, up to the displayed maximum of five. Review the Main Category and use its change control if needed.
  • Languages: select the languages the website supports and review the Main Language.
  • Platform Types: describe the type of publication.
  • Format Types: select the formats you actually offer, such as Guest Post or Niche Edit.
  • Description: explain the website’s audience, accepted content and requirements. The current form shows a 3,000-character limit.
  • Owner Email: an optional field used to identify the website owner. Enter accurate information where applicable.

Use the description to explain relevant editorial limits, prohibited topics or additional requirements that are not covered by a dedicated field. Only offer placements you are authorized to provide.

Review sponsored labels and link attributes

The edit form includes Labelled as Sponsored? with Yes, No and Optional options, and a Link Type choice. Make sure the listing accurately describes what the Publisher will deliver and that the placement complies with applicable disclosure requirements.

Clarify any special conditions before accepting a Proposal. An inaccurate listing can lead to a mismatch between the Marketer’s brief and the publication you can provide.

Change prices and currencies

Publication Price and Niche Edit Price are separate fields, with their displayed currency controls. Check both the amount and currency. Changing one price does not mean the other was changed.

Listing changes apply to your advertised offer. They do not authorize you to replace the price, link attributes or requirements already agreed in an accepted Order. Agree any Order changes with the other party through the Order workflow.

Save and check the result

  1. Complete the fields marked as required and review all changes.
  2. Click Update Website.
  3. Read the confirmation or any validation errors before leaving the page.
  4. Return to My Websites and open View Details to check the saved information and current status.

If Posticy shows a review or approval status, follow that status rather than assuming the edited listing is immediately available. Ownership verification and Marketplace review remain separate requirements. See How to Verify Your Website on Posticy.

Hide a listing when appropriate

In My Websites, open the website’s More actions menu and use Hide when you want to change its visibility. Read any confirmation and check the resulting status. If you later need to restore visibility, use the action available for that website or ask Support if none is offered.

Hiding or making a website inactive does not itself cancel accepted Orders, remove delivery obligations or end the agreed publication period. Resolve active commitments with the Marketer and contact Support when needed.

Check metrics and your public presentation

SEO metrics are supplied through the platform’s metrics workflow. Use the available SEO Metrics Update action and review any displayed scope or charge before confirming. See How SEO Metrics Work.

Use Public Profile to check how your websites are presented to clients. Your own Publisher websites are excluded from Marketplace searches in your same-account Marketer view. See Why Can’t I See My Own Websites in the Marketplace?.

Before submitting a listing for review

Review these points before submitting a new website or updating an existing listing. Technical verification and Marketplace approval are separate steps.

Make sure the website is ready

  • The exact domain or subdomain opens publicly and consistently.
  • The website contains real, usable content rather than a default “Hello world!” post, an unfinished template or a test page.
  • The public content is consistent with the website and audience described in the listing.
  • You can demonstrate ownership or authorized administration of the website.

Use accurate listing details

Select categories that describe the actual publication. Select the languages in which you genuinely offer publication and clarify any difference between the site's current main language and an additional language offered for placements. Do not select a language merely because a translation tool is available.

Check the country, platform type, publication formats, link attributes and sponsored-label options. Enter the Guest Post and Niche Edit prices separately where applicable, including the correct currencies.

Write a useful description

Explain the site's topics, audience and actual publication requirements. Include additional pricing conditions clearly where relevant. Do not invent word counts, publication deadlines or editorial conditions simply to fill the field.

Avoid invitations to bypass Posticy by contacting you directly, unsupported guarantees of rankings or traffic, and claims about evading Google filters or AI detection. Do not use the description to conceal material restrictions or advertise unauthorized content.

Complete verification for the correct listing

Use the token and method shown for that website. Check that the proof is available on the correct domain or subdomain. If the website already exists or appears twice, contact Support before submitting another record.

For a technical error, use Troubleshooting Website Verification. For a domain or ownership change, ask Support to check the existing listing and any affected Orders.

Wait for the review result

Follow the status shown in My Websites. A successful verification message does not mean the listing is already approved. If Support requests clarification, reply with the relevant domain and evidence rather than creating a replacement listing.

For maintaining an approved listing, see Managing Your Website Listing.
