Why Posticy Asks You to Connect PayPal (And How It Works)

Connecting PayPal lets Posticy automate invoicing and payment-status updates for Publisher Orders. Marketers pay the Publisher directly through PayPal; Posticy does not hold the placement funds or pay them out later.

Is PayPal the only payment option?

No. Normal Publisher accounts support Stripe as well as PayPal. Manual invoicing is available only when enabled for your account by an administrator. Use the payment options shown in your account and the Publisher payment guide.

What the connection is for

The integration creates invoices in your name and checks their payment status so Posticy can update the Order. It is not a Posticy wallet or permission to use your placement earnings as platform credit.

Connect your PayPal account

Select Connect PayPal and complete authorization on PayPal’s own website. Read the exact permissions shown before approving. Posticy does not ask you to enter your PayPal password on Posticy. You can manage or revoke the connection in your PayPal account settings.

When an invoice is created

For a direct Proposal, Publisher acceptance creates the binding Order and invoice. For your Proposal responding to an Offer Request, Marketer acceptance creates them. The Marketer pays the invoice directly to your connected account before publication. Check the payment status and actual receipt when needed; provider processing times or holds are governed by PayPal.

Payment and platform charges

Connects and Premium are separate from Publisher placement prices. A subscription or Connect purchase does not pay a Publisher’s invoice. Refunds and disputes about direct placement payments are handled between the Users and, where applicable, the payment provider. Posticy’s managed-service obligations follow its separate service agreement.
